Alexander Hevia
Director · CPA, J.D., LL.M. (Taxation)
A Miami native, Alexander Hevia is a second-generation CPA and a first-generation tax attorney, continuing his family’s tradition in accounting while bringing a complementary perspective in tax law.
Alexander is licensed as a CPA in Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation at the University of Miami. His academic studies and professional experience concentrate on business and international taxation.
His background in accounting and tax law informs his approach to the tax needs of business owners, individuals, and the families behind their businesses. He speaks English and Spanish.

Director · CPA
Maria del Calvo Hevia is a Florida-licensed CPA and Director at Hevia & Hevia CPA Firm, with more than 40 years of experience in accounting and tax practice.
She specializes in international taxation, working with individuals and businesses whose tax affairs include both domestic and international components. Her approach considers how those interests fit together, helping clients understand their tax obligations in the context of their broader personal and business circumstances.
A University of Miami graduate, Maria speaks English and Spanish. Her decades of experience contribute to the firm’s multigenerational perspective and its commitment to serving businesses and the families behind them.
